PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THE TIME FOR APPLYING FOR HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION FOR 2026 HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO THE SAME DATES AS THE 45 DAY APPEAL PERIOD AFTER THE ASSESSMENT NOTICES HAVE BEEN MAILED. THIS YEAR THE TIME FRAME IS FROM JUNE 5, 2026, THROUGH JULY 23, 2026. TO APPLY FOR AN EXEMPTION BASED ON INCOME YOU MUST APPLY IN PERSON AND BRING YOUR PROOF OF INCOME FROM 2025.
OUR OFFICE IS LOCATED AT 411 E. SOLOMON STREET AND OFFICE OUR OFFICE HOURS ARE MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8:00 A.M. UNTIL 4:30 P.M. PLEASE SEE THE CALENDAR FOR 2026 THAT SHOWS THE DAYS THAT ALL COUNTY OFFICES ARE CLOSED FOR THE VARIOUS HOLIDAYS.
